Aberdein Considine private wealth specialists recognised among UK’s best in global legal guide
Aberdein Considine’s private client team in the Central Belt has been recognised by global legal guide Chambers and Partners in its latest High Net Worth (HNW) rankings.
The HNW 2026 guide showcases top legal professionals and firms across the UK specialising in private wealth law.
For the first time, Aberdein Considine’s private wealth team features in the guide, receiving a Band 4 ranking for “Glasgow, Edinburgh and surrounds”.
Meanwhile, Partners Ryan Fox and James MacKinnon have been recognised once again.
Chambers, which ranks and rates the best lawyers in the world based on client feedback, is highly regarded due to its independent, research-based assessment of firms.
James MacKinnon, Private Client Partner in Aberdein Considine’s Edinburgh office, said:
“At Aberdein Considine we pride ourselves on delivering a first-class service to all our clients. We are delighted to have been recognised in Chambers and Partners’ latest High Net Worth rankings for private wealth law. This very welcome endorsement spurs us on to further enhance our commitment to excellence.”
Based in Aberdeen and Stonehaven, Ryan Fox provides advice on a wide range of private client matters, including tax planning, asset protection and estate administration, as well as handling wills, trusts and executries. With the firm since 2006, Ryan has been ranked in the Chambers and Partners HNW Guide every year since 2022.
James MacKinnon heads up the Private Client team in Edinburgh and provides clients with tax efficient solutions in passing wealth on to future generations, both in lifetime and on death. He specialises in all aspects of the formation, administration and termination of trusts, including providing expert advice on the legal and tax implications of the use of trusts in succession planning and asset protection. He joined Aberdein Considine in 2018 and has been a Chambers HNW-ranked private wealth lawyer since 2023.
