Aberdein Considine is proud to announce that Ahsan Mustafa, a Banking Litigation Associate within the Lender Services Practice Group at the firm, has been elected to represent the constituency of Glasgow and Strathkelvin at the Council of the Law Society of Scotland. This significant achievement reflects Ahsan’s ongoing commitment to excellence and leadership within Scotland’s legal profession.

Ahsan Mustafa brings extensive experience in commercial litigation and a strong track record of public service, including sitting on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Journal of the Law Society of Scotland and his committee work, giving evidence to parliament on behalf of the Law Society and his strong ties with the Council of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow. His election to the Law Society of Scotland’s Council marks an important milestone in his career and highlights his dedication to representing and advancing the interests of solicitors across Scotland.

As a Council Member, Ahsan will play a vital role in shaping the future of the legal profession, influencing policy, and ensuring the highest standards of professional conduct and service. His peers have recognised his ability to bring thoughtful insight and calm leadership to complex legal and governance matters.
