Eleven New Trainees Launch Their Legal Careers at Aberdein Considine
Firm welcomes highest intake of trainee solicitors in five years
Eleven trainee solicitors are settling in across a range of departments at Aberdein Considine LLP – the largest trainee intake at the leading law firm since 2021.
The group of fledgling lawyers joined the firm earlier this summer and recently gathered at its Blenheim House headquarters in Aberdeen for a Trainees Day with members of the Aberdein Considine management team.
The day’s programme covered a range of topics including the firm’s culture and values, the services it specialises in and growth and investment plans for the business. It featured sessions from various colleagues, including Managing Partner Jacqueline Law, a newly qualified former trainee and current second year trainees.
The first year trainees are based variously in four Aberdein Considine legal offices across Scotland, with two in the Commercial Real Estate team (Aberdeen, Glasgow), two in the Aberdeen Conveyancing Hub, two in Private Client (Aberdeen, Glasgow), one in Dispute Resolution (Edinburgh), one in Family Law (Glasgow), one in Corporate and Business Advisory (Aberdeen), one in Banking Litigation (Glasgow) and one in Repossession Conveyancing (Glasgow).
Aberdein Considine LLP Managing Partner Jacqueline Law said: “We’re very pleased to welcome eleven enthusiastic and promising new trainees to Aberdein Considine in 2026, which is the largest intake we’ve had in five years. They join us at an exciting time for the firm as we continue to build upon our success, in particular growing legal service lines in our Central Belt offices.
“We know that nurturing talented solicitors at the very start of their legal careers benefits everyone right across the business. By supporting junior lawyers and building their knowledge, confidence and capabilities, we are boosting Aberdein Considine’s talent pipeline and at the same time enhancing our corporate culture through the innovative approach and diverse skills that trainees bring with them.”
