Amanda Paterson

Senior Solicitor

Amanda Paterson is a Senior Solicitor at Aberdein Considine and is based in the firm’s Blenheim House office in Aberdeen. She joined the firm in June 2021.

She assists respondent and SME clients with day-to-day HR queries, including redundancies, disciplinary and grievance procedures. Amanda has experience drafting contracts of employment, and preparing policies and procedures, and she advises on settlement agreements to ensure clients understand their rights and options.

Amanda also supports corporate colleagues in managing business transfers and advises on the employment aspects of transactions, including the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (TUPE). Her work combines careful legal analysis with clear, actionable guidance tailored to each client’s operational needs.

She holds an LLB and a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. Amanda completed her traineeship with the firm after joining as a summer placement student.
