Jacqueline Law

Managing Partner

Jacqueline became Managing Partner of Aberdein Considine in 2014, more than two decades after first joining the firm as a trainee lawyer.

Since taking over the day-to-day running of the firm, she has led it to consecutive years of record turnover and has overseen four acquisitions which allowed the firm to expand in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling and Newcastle and trade in England and Wales for the first time.

In 2025 Jacqueline spearheaded Aberdein Considine’s conversion to Limited Liability Partnership from a traditional partnership model, and oversaw a refreshed brand identity for the firm.

A specialist in oil and gas and marine law, Jacqueline is a Legal 500-recommended Commercial Lawyer and has worked with some of her clients for over two decades.

She has a broad range of corporate and commercial experience, mainly in the SME oil service sector, dealing with acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs/buy-ins, group restructuring and commercial contracts.

Her experience also includes major fleet purchase transactions and refinancing deals for offshore support vessel owners and operators.
