Marianne McJannett is a Partner at Aberdein Considine, based in the firm’s Glasgow (Waterloo Street) office.

She advises businesses on aligning employment contracts, policies and procedures with current legal standards, ensuring documentation reflects each organisation’s culture and commercial objectives.

Marianne guides employers through restructures and business reorganisations, providing pragmatic, commercially minded support at every stage. In addition to her employer-side work, she regularly negotiates exit packages and advises individuals on settlement agreements, helping clients to understand their rights and the practical effect of post-termination restrictions on future career opportunities.

Marianne holds an LLB and a Diploma in Legal Practice and is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist. She contributes expert commentary on employment law developments to external publications, including Scottish Legal News and the Institute of Directors, and frequently delivers training sessions and seminars for clients and professional contacts on a broad range of current and emerging employment law issues.
