Nicola is a Partner at Aberdein Considine and works from the firm’s Glasgow office.
With over a decade of experience specialising exclusively in family law, she is recognised for her empathetic yet pragmatic approach, offering clients clear, concise and practical advice during what can often be a difficult time.
She acts for a broad range of clients, providing support that is tailored to each client’s individual circumstances. Nicola advises on all aspects of family law, including child residence and contact disputes, relocation, divorce, and separation agreements. She has extensive experience in dealing with financial matters arising from divorce and regularly prepares pre-nuptial, post-nuptial and cohabitation agreements. Nicola is a respected litigator and has acted in a number of international child abduction cases under the Hague Convention, representing both claimants and defendants.
Nicola is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as Specialist in Family Law and as a Family Mediator. Her mix of technical skill and sensitivity ensures clients receive advice that is professional, constructive and compassionate.
