Robert Holland is a Partner and Head of Employment Law at Aberdein Considine, based in the firm’s Multrees Walk office in Edinburgh.

Since joining Aberdein Considine, he has built a reputation for pragmatic, commercially minded advice and clear, client-focused advocacy.

He acts for a broad range of clients, assisting with all aspects of employment law for both individuals and organisations, with a particular focus on senior executives, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and charity boards. Whether advising on routine workplace matters or on complex tribunal and contractual disputes, he combines technical legal expertise with a practical focus on outcomes, helping clients to understand not just the legal position but the commercial implications and next steps.

Robert also leads the firm’s Sports Law department and is partner responsible for the charity function, supporting sports organisations and charities on governance, regulatory and transactional issues. Recent highlights include leading charity initiatives for the firm, most notably participating in a fundraising trek to K2.
