The high calibre of Aberdein Considine’s legal services has been recognised once again in the latest rankings from the Legal 500, with more solicitors recognised than ever before.

The Legal 500 is one of the foremost guides to law firms and solicitors in the UK which recommends individuals and firms ranked for the year ahead as a result of a rigorous, independent evaluation process.

Aberdein Considine has again – for the tenth consecutive year – netted a top tier ranking for Scotland in the area of Dispute Resolution – Debt Recovery.

Eight other practice areas were recommended in the 2025 rankings:

Private client – Family

Real estate

Corporate and commercial

Private client – Personal tax, trusts and executries

Sport

Insolvency and corporate recovery

Dispute resolution – Commercial litigation

Employment

Further to the departmental rankings, Ritchie Whyte (Corporate and Commercial) joins Myra Scott (Debt Recovery) and Ruth Aberdein (Family Law) in being recognised as Leading Partners in their fields.

Meanwhile Danny Anderson (Corporate and Commercial) was recognised as a Leading Associate, with Gemma Perfect (Commercial Real Estate) and Leonie Burke retaining their recognition as Next Generation Lawyers.

In total, 32 lawyers were named in the Legal 500 UK commentary for their “standout contribution to their respective practices”, up from 26 last year.

Commenting on the latest rankings, Jacqueline Law, Managing Partner, Aberdein Considine, said: “We are enormously proud of all our lawyers for their dedication and expertise in their respective fields, and for their commitment to providing clients with the highest levels of advice and service at all times.

“Our key focus has always been and must be to help and advise our clients as they navigate important personal and business milestones. It is therefore immensely pleasing to see Aberdein Considine recognised in such a well-regarded legal guide.”
