Prestigious Legal 500 guide recognises Aberdein Considine lawyers

Written by Aberdein Considine

Celebrations are under way at Aberdein Considine LLP after the firm achieved six practice area and 17 individual rankings in the prestigious Chambers and Partners global legal guide for 2027, more than treble the number it netted in 2022.

One practice area achieved a new ranking (Litigation, at Band 4), while two areas improved their rankings (Real Estate Litigation, to Band 3 from Band 4) and Employment (to Band 4 from Band 5).

Meanwhile three additional practice areas maintained their rankings in the latest guide: Family (Band 2), Real Estate up to £10 million (Band 2) and Corporate (Band 4).

A total of 14 Aberdein Considine solicitors achieved Chambers and Partners rankings in a spread of 17 individual rankings overall, including eight lawyers who improved their rankings.

Three partners were ranked twice each: Ruth Aberdein (Band 1 for both Family / Matrimonial and Family / Matrimonial: Mediators); Euan McSherry (Band 2 for Real Estate Litigation and Band 3 for Litigation); and Ross Webb (Band 3 for Restructuring / Insolvency and Band 4 for Litigation).

The firm’s 2027 guide rankings total 23 overall, more than three times the number it garnered in the Chambers and Partners 2022 UK guide, when it received two practice area and five individual rankings.

Jacqueline Law, Aberdein Considine Managing Partner, said: “I’m extremely proud of the firm’s achievements in gaining additional rankings from this highly respected guide. As the quotes gathered by the researchers demonstrate, Aberdein Considine owes so much of its success to the exceptional breadth and depth of talent across our firm at every level, as well as to the time and care our lawyers take to understand our clients’ needs and deliver the best possible advice and solutions for all individuals and businesses we work with.

“Sincere thanks to all our clients for their continued trust and support, and for generously sharing their feedback with Chambers and Partners as part of the research and ranking process.”
