Prestigious Legal 500 guide recognises Aberdein Considine lawyers

Twelve practice areas and thirty-five individual lawyers at Aberdein Considine LLP have been recognised in the 2027 edition of the Legal 500 guide, comprising nine individually ranked lawyers and 26 additional lawyers highlighted in the practice area commentary.

The Legal 500 is one of the foremost guides to law firms and solicitors in the UK which recommends individuals and firms ranked for the year ahead as a result of a rigorous, independent evaluation process.

Aberdein Considine has retained its top tier ranking for both Scotland (for the 12th consecutive year) and the North of England in Debt Recovery, while three practice areas have improved their rankings with Corporate & Commercial (elsewhere in Scotland) moving up to Tier 2, Insolvency & Corporate Recovery ranked at Tier 3 and Property Litigation at Tier 3.

Three additional partners have been recognised as Leading Partners for the first time in the 2027 Guide – Laura Browne (Debt Recovery Scotland), Ross Webb (Insolvency & Corporate Recovery) and Leonie Burke (Family). Leonie was previously recognised as a Next Generation Partner.

They join four fellow Aberdein Considine Leading Partners ranked in previous guides, namely: Ritchie Whyte (Corporate & Commercial elsewhere in Scotland), Myra Scott (Debt Recovery Scotland), Ruth Aberdein (Family) and Gemma Perfect (Real Estate elsewhere in Scotland).

Meanwhile, Danny Anderson (Corporate & Commercial) was again recognised as a Leading Associate, alongside Commercial Real Estate Associate Lindsey McDiarmid.
