Elaine Elder
Partner
Elaine is a Partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team and is based in our Blenheim House office in Aberdeen.
She trained with the firm, gaining experience in contentious matters including professional negligence, commercial debt recovery (in Scotland), insolvency and landlord and tenant disputes.
She developed her knowledge on commercial contracts and corporate law when working in-house as Legal Counsel. Latterly, she has focused on complex recoveries in relation to business and commercial debt. Elaine is an experienced advocate and negotiator, regularly appearing in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland in relation to complex substantive hearings and acting for multi-national clients.
Elaine is thorough in her approach and has an aptitude for obtaining the best possible outcome for clients.
