A freshly refurbished, 5080sqft Grade A open plan office at West One on Newcastle’s Forth Banks is now home to around 70 Aberdein Considine LLP employees, working principally in volume recovery and banking litigation on behalf of major UK lenders.
The modern new premises for the firm’s Newcastle-based teams boasts views of the River Tyne from its roof terrace and has been fitted out to incorporate a large boardroom overlooking the terrace and separate meeting rooms with large dining kitchen for staff.
Only a ten-minute walk from the train station, the top floor office at West One will also host Aberdein Considine colleagues working in Commercial Real Estate for England and Wales, alongside Employment and Corporate and Business Advisory lawyers.
Aberdein Considine Managing Partner Jacqueline Law said:
“Our new office in Newcastle is a breath of fresh air for colleagues, providing light, attractive and inspiring working and collaboration spaces, a social kitchen dining area and outside seating on the roof terrace, with views of the Tyne. Clients appreciate the office’s bright and modern meeting rooms and proximity to the city centre, too.
“We are grateful to all our partners for their support in facilitating this relocation and look forward to continuing to deliver excellent services to our clients from our well-appointed new base.”
Commercial property consultancy Naylors Gavin Black LLP supported Aberdein Considine with their move to West One.
Associate partner at Naylors Gavin Black, Jessica Ross, said: “One of our key services is supporting occupiers to make informed, smart, decisions to future-proof their commercial property.
"It was a pleasure to advise Aberdein Considine on their important relocation in Newcastle by taking a strategic approach. We evaluated how their existing space was being used and what the team truly needed from a modern working environment. Their move reflects a growing focus on staff wellbeing, amenity, and creating spaces that inspire productivity.”
Prior to the move to West One, Aberdein Considine’s Newcastle teams were based on Cloth Market. The relocation to Forth Banks was fuelled by the firm’s continued expansion in the city, along with a desire to boost staff wellbeing and amenity by means of moving to brighter and more modern premises.
