Megan is an Associate and Notary Public within our Family Law team. Megan is based in Glasgow, although regularly works from our Stirling office.

With a personal and direct approach, she will give informed and pragmatic advice to help secure the best outcome for you, no matter what life throws your way. Megan is recommended by the Legal 500 guide where she was described as “down to earth, professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with” and is able to make “a highly stressful separation much more manageable because of her skills, expertise and empathy”.

Megan provides advice on all aspects of Family Law and legal issues arising from personal relationships, including child contact and residence disputes, adoption, financial issues arising from separation/divorce, dissolution of civil partnerships, pre and post nuptial agreements, co-habitation and Adults with Incapacity including Guardianship and Intervention Orders.

Megan regularly appears in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and has also been involved in instructing Counsel at the Court of Session. She is also a trained Collaborative Lawyer.

Megan joined Aberdein Considine in 2015 as a Summer Student and began her traineeship with the Firm in 2016. Megan has practised exclusively in Family Law since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018.

Megan is a member of the Family Law Association in Scotland and of Consensus Collaboration Scotland.
