Having joined the firm in 1984, Michael played a fundamental role in growing the business from a north-east firm to a multi-jurisdictional partnership with 19 offices across Scotland and the north of England.

Michael is also a full-time member of the firm's Management Committee, which has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the business.
